Remote observations

Camera imageWe have for the past six months been working alongside A-Ztech Computer Systems to develop a portable and discreet 4-camera and video system that can be placed into homes and our contact rooms that will facilitate the observations of parents with their children. We are now in a position to offer this service as part of a parenting assessment. Our systems allow the observer to remotely view the family interactions from their computer/laptop using real-time streaming video and audio, which is sent via a secure broadband link. Remote viewing ensures that the family interactions are not interfered with due to the presence of an observer. Our experience has shown that both adults and children forget that a camera is present after approximately 20 minutes. Whilst the cameras are switched on the video and sound are being saved to a 300 GB hard drive, which provides full editing facilities, for evidential or training purposes.

The systems are designed to be tamper proof and are operated by a simple on/off switch which the parents control.
