Mark Hatter - Director
Mark Hatter qualified as a social worker in 1986 following
working for 3 years in the police and 2 years working with adolescents with
learning difficulties. Since qualifying Mark has worked exclusively within
Children’s Services. He has many years experience of working with
child protection matters, in particular issues of institutional and organised
sexual abuse, both in the capacity of Senior Social Worker, Child Protection
Coordinator and Team Manager. He has also run three children’s homes
that cared for children who had emotional and behavioural difficulties and
has been an assessor of prospective foster carers for a private fostering
agency. In 2003 Mark became a Children’s Guardian working across Surrey
and Sussex and has held cases in both public and private law. He is an experienced
child protection trainer and has carried out child protection audits in
independent schools and has sat on Risk Management Panels.
